Our flagship AI companion built in 24 hours at the Catalyst Hackathon. LUMI listens, speaks, and understands your language — powered by Llama TTS and Whisper STT via GROQ APIs. A built-in distraction manager constantly monitors your focus and nudges you when you drift. LUMI also tracks inactivity, reads your hand gestures to trigger actions, and always replies in the language you spoke.

HyperNova Tech made its mark in the competitive arena at the 24-hour Hackathon organized by Catalyst at Amity University Kolkata (AUK). This was our first major collaborative challenge as a team, and it defined who we are as innovators.
Under relentless time pressure, we conceived, designed, and built LUMI — Learning Unified Machine Intelligence: a multilingual AI that listens, speaks, detects distractions, reads hand gestures, and tracks your focus in real time. The experience forged us into a stronger, more cohesive team.
